Underwater Survey of Intake and Discharge Head and Pipes
of Sea Water Cooling System
Scope of Work:
Supervision, provision of personnel, equipment and consumables to undertake the following:
1. Underwater internal survey of the power station intake and discharge pipe, approximately 200m in length and 2-3m in diameter.
2. Locating and documenting defects.
3. Pulling out of spray nozzles for cleaning/repair and refit thereafter for continuous and shock dosing lines, inspection of joints for correct fit up.
4. Cleaning and scooping out of dead seashells/sands accumulated at the bottom of intake bays.
5. Cleaning of intake/outlet mesh screens of any marine growth.
6. Cleaning/weeding of all marine growth and reporting of internal debris and type and density of marine growth using the following methodology:
a. Colour closed circuit television survey complete with surface monitor VCR and two-way communication between diver and supervisor
b. Colour 35mm photographs
c. Comprehensive written report of findings complete with VCD and 35mm colour photographs
